Project Trailhead App - Account & Data Deletion

At Project Trailhead, we are committed to protecting your privacy and giving you control over your data. This page outlines the process for permanently deleting your account and all associated information from our systems.

Option 1: Delete Your Account Within the App (Recommended)

The fastest and easiest way to delete your account is through the app itself. Delete your account within the app by following these steps:

1. Navigate to the Profile tab.

2. Tap the Settings icon.

3. Select Account Info.

4. Tap "Delete My Account" and follow the on-screen prompts to confirm the deletion.

Option 2: Request Deletion via Email

If you are unable to access the app, you can request account deletion by sending an email to: info@projecttrailhead.com

To help us verify your identity and process your request, please send the email from the address associated with your Project Trailhead account. Manual deletion requests will be processed within 5-7 business days.

What Happens When You Delete Your Account?

Choosing to delete your account is an irreversible action. This process will permanently remove all of your personal and activity data from our systems, including:

• Your Firebase user document, which contains your first name, in-app rank and learning progress, military branch, service/transition date ranges, total XP, favorited resources and learning modules, and all earned ribbons and badges.

• Your Firebase Authentication profile, which includes your email address, sign-in provider, creation date, sign-in history, and unique User UID.
